2025 sign on indemnity

In consideration for being permitted to participate in this track day by Secret Meet Ltd, henceforth referred to as “SSM” I accept, agree and confirm that:

• I am familiar with the nature of the activity I wish to undertake and accept that, despite SSM taking all reasonable precautions, damage or injury may occur. I accept these risks and take part in the activity at my own risk.
• I am aware of the fact that participation in this event entails risks for me as well as for third parties, including visitors, audience, pit-lane crew etc., and for my property and/or the property of third parties, due to damage/injury/property damage and consequential damage.
• I am competent to take part, I am not taking any drugs (whether prescribed or otherwise) that may impair my ability to take part and I do not suffer from, and have no history of, any medical condition that could affect my ability to take part in this event.
• I do not have anxiety, panic attacks or post-traumatic stress disorder and have neither needed to see a doctor nor needed any treatment for any of these in the last 2 years. I have never been diagnosed as having psychosis, schizophrenia, manicdepressive psychosis, bipolar disease or any other serious mental illness.
• I will satisfy myself (by sighting lap or otherwise) that the track is acceptable to me with regard to its features and physical layout.
• I have read and understood, and will comply with, all information and regulations provided to me in relation to the track day and I will comply with instructions and directions given by the organisers, instructors and any other representative of SSM or Silverstone at all times whilst at the Venue. In the interest of safety, the organisers or instructors may exclude me from further participation in the activity if they think I am driving recklessly or dangerously. I am aware that other participants will be on the track at the same time as me.
• I hold a full valid road driving licence and/or race licence appropriate for the vehicle I intend to drive and have produced it to SSM for inspection.
• The vehicle I intend to use is fit to use on this track day. In particular it is safe and roadworthy. Any in-car camera or other equipment is safely and securely attached, using mounting systems specifically designed for that purpose.
• The use of my vehicle is entirely at my risk and I accept responsibility for any damage to my vehicle howsoever caused. I understand that SSM’s insurance does not cover damage to my vehicle at the Venue (whether caused by me or anyone else driving it, or caused by another participant), and that SSM recommends that participants procure their own track day insurance.
• SSM will not be scrutineering participant's vehicles before permitting them on the track, nor has it any control over the level of competence of other participants.
• I understand that I will be liable for any damage caused at the Venue by my reckless or dangerous driving and shall pay an amount equal to the cost of any resulting repair or replacement.
• I declare that I bear responsibility for any damage caused by me to the facilities of Silverstone Circuit, in particular the crash barriers, track surface etc and I agree to reimburse any costs and/or other expenses arisen as a result, based on a cost estimate prepared by the operator.
• I explicitly assume responsibility for these risks. SSM, Silverstone, and/or their respective board members, officials, instructors and staff accept no liability whatsoever for any damage suffered, inflicted, caused or incurred by me with regard to this event, unless such damage is due to intent or gross negligence.
• I declare that I will not hold SSM, Silverstone and/or their respective board members, officials and staff, nor the legal entities and persons mentioned above, liable for any damage suffered by me, whether material or immaterial, including personal injury.
• I shall wear seat belts or harnesses at all times whilst in a vehicle and a properly fastened crash helmet at all times whilst on the circuit.
• Neither SSM, Silverstone, nor any other company or organisation connected with the event (or any of their respective employees or officers), any instructors or other participants (each a “Relevant Person”) shall be liable for any injury, loss, damage, claims, costs, expenses, or demands suffered directly or indirectly by me as a consequence of my attendance at or participation in this activity provided that this does not exclude any Relevant Person’s liability for personal injury or death caused by its negligence.
• SSM may take photographs and/or video footage of me during this event and may use such photographs or footage (including my likeness and image) for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice or payment.
